3. Purpose

​

The purpose of Agent Orange Child is to:

 

• Advocate for the recognition and rights of second-generation survivors of TCDD (Agent Orange) exposure.

• Raise awareness of the health and human rights impacts on children of Vietnam veterans and others exposed.

• Support affected individuals and their families through information, advocacy, and campaigning.

• Seek justice and government accountability in Australia and internationally.

• Promote access to healthcare, disability support, and compensation.

 

 

4. Not-for-Profit Nature

 

• Agent Orange Child operates as a not-for-profit association.

• All income and assets are used solely to further the group’s purpose.

• No profits are distributed to members or supporters.

 

 

5. Membership and Leadership

• The group is led by the founder and coordinator Danielle Stevens, who manages day-to-day activities.

• Supporters may contribute through volunteering, sharing information, signing petitions, and fundraising.

• Additional advisors or volunteers may be appointed as needed.

 

 

 

6. Decision-Making​

 

• All key decisions will be made by the coordinator in consultation with supporters, where appropriate.

• Decisions will be based on the best interests of the cause and affected communities.

 

 

7. Financial Management

​

• Agent Orange Child will maintain a separate bank account for all donations and income.

• Accurate records of income and spending will be kept.

• Funds will only be used to advance the group’s stated purpose.

 

 

 

8. Fundraising and Grants

​

• The group may fundraise publicly and apply for local, national, or international grants.

• All funds raised will support the group’s goals and campaigns.

 

 

9.Accountability and Transparency

 

• Basic financial reports and campaign outcomes will be shared publicly via the website.

• The group commits to ethical, honest, and transparent practices.

 

10.Dissolution

 

 

• If Agent Orange Child closes, any remaining funds or assets must be donated to a similar not-for-profit or charitable cause related to human rights, veterans’ advocacy, or TCDD exposure.
