What they’ll say:
“There’s no law, scheme, or precedent that applies to your situation.”
The real issue:
• They admit there’s harm, but because no one has written it into domestic law, they say their hands are tied.
• This is systemic neglect disguised as legal helplessness.
How to strike back:
• International law overrides domestic inaction.
• Under the ICCPR, you have the right to an effective remedy for harm—even if there’s no local law written yet.
• The CRC requires states to create mechanisms for redress in complex, long-term harm situations.
Oh no you’re really in the shit here cause I told them all about me & all my 17 health conditions and being abandoned from birth to age 50….
You better pick up the phone cause they are going to be calling you very soon.....
And I’m still the child of a Vietnam Veteran.
