Subject: Escalation Notice: Treasury Legal Officers Referred for Ethics and Bar Investigation
Dear Treasury,
You have had more than sufficient time.
I provided formal 30-day and 15-day notices, clearly outlining your obligations under international and domestic law — including the Rome Statute, OECD Guidelines, and fundamental human rights protections. Although the Vienna Convention was not named explicitly in those earlier notices, all communications fall under its authority by default. Article 26 of the Vienna Convention binds you to act in good faith. You chose otherwise.
That silence is not neutral — it is obstruction. It is now being treated as coordinated institutional misconduct. Effective today, I am formally referring the following Treasury legal officers to the Bar Association and Legal Ethics Committee for professional breaches, failure to act in good faith, and complicity in treaty violations:
Erin Wells – General Counsel
Arjun Khullar – Deputy General Counsel
Mat Mirabella – Senior Lawyer
Terence Takaindisa – Lawyer
Vivek Raj – Lawyer
Mustafa Tanriverdi – Lawyer
Kathryn Grimes – General Counsel
Chris Leggett – Law Design Branch Lead
Jessica Robinson – Law Design Branch Lead / Sydney Office Head
This is not a threat. It is a schedule.
Every week you delay payment, more names will be added. Every ignored deadline will be matched with further escalation to legal and international oversight bodies.
I asked nicely. You refused. Now we play hardball.
Unless you intend to operate without a legal team, I suggest you resolve this matter immediately.
Your silence has consequences — not just on paper, but in careers. And I will keep the referrals coming until justice is served.
Warm Agent Orange Burns regards,
Danielle Stevens
