d multi-systemic harm in the children of Vietnam veterans? Where is the government’s alternative explanation

It’s easy to feel like one voice won’t be heard — especially when governments and systems have ignored you for decades. But the truth is: international human rights bodies are designed to listen to people like me.

I didn’t speak out just for myself. I spoke out because I am one of thousands of sons and daughters affected by toxic chemical exposure, carrying harm passed down from a war we weren’t even alive to fight in. And I’m not alone — there are others like me across Australia, the U.S., New Zealand, South Korea, Vietnam and Canada.

The science is clear. The silence from governments is unacceptable. And the United Nations Committees exist to hear cases just like this, especially when national systems have failed.

Why they take cases like mine seriously:

    • Because I presented evidence: from science, medicine, and lived experience.

    • Because I’ve exhausted my options at home: and was left with nowhere else to go.

    • Because this isn’t just a personal story — it’s a human rights issue.

The Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) and other United Nations bodies exist to hold governments accountable when they neglect their obligations. They don’t need headlines or political pressure to take a complaint seriously — they need truth, courage, and persistence.

So yes — they will listen.

And eventually, so will the world.D isn’t responsible, then what caused this widespread, consistent, and multi-systemic harm in the children of Vietnam veterans? Where is the government’s alternative explanation?”

If TCDD isn’t responsible, then what caused this widespread, consistent, and multi-systemic harm in the children of Vietnam veterans? Where is the government’s alternative explanation?”
